Community Outreach & Benevolence
Being the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are hurting, hungry, and in need
The outreach ministry of Diakonia Christian Church is the practical expression of our name — service. We are committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community, meeting tangible needs and sharing the hope of the Gospel with those who are hurting, hungry, and in need.
Our outreach programs serve hundreds of families each month through food distribution, clothing, home repairs, job training, ESL classes, and emergency financial assistance. We believe the Gospel is proclaimed not only in words but in deeds — and every act of service is an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ.
We actively partner with 6 local nonprofit organizations and participate in citywide community service days, back-to-school drives, holiday meal distributions, and disaster relief efforts. Our team of over 80 dedicated volunteers makes this work possible.
