Easter Sunday Celebration
Easter is the pinnacle of the Christian calendar, and at Diakonia we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with joy, reverence, and gratitude. Our Easter celebration features three distinct worship experiences throughout the morning.
The Sunrise Service at 6:30 AM is held outdoors on the church grounds (weather permitting) and includes a brief devotional, Scripture readings, and congregational singing as the sun rises — a beautiful symbol of the resurrection light breaking through the darkness of the tomb.
Our 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services in the Main Sanctuary are full worship celebrations featuring our choir, worship band, brass ensemble, and a stirring Easter message from Pastor David Harmon. Believer's baptism will be celebrated during both services. Children's programs are available during both indoor services.
Following the 11:00 AM service, all families are invited to our Easter Egg Hunt on the church grounds with over 5,000 eggs, bounce houses, and light refreshments. Invite your neighbors and friends — everyone is welcome!
