Baptism Sunday is one of the most joyful celebrations in the life of our church. We believe that belieber's baptism — the immersion of a professing Christian in water — is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and a beautiful picture of the believer's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
During both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services, baptism candidates will share a brief testimony of how they came to faith in Christ before being baptized by one of our pastors in our baptismal pool. This is always an incredibly moving experience for the candidates, their families, and the entire congregation.
If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ and have not yet been baptized, we warmly invite you to take this meaningful step of obedience. Baptism preparation includes a brief meeting with a pastor to discuss the meaning of baptism and hear your testimony. We provide baptism robes; please bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Family and friends of those being baptized are warmly welcome to attend and celebrate this milestone. Photography and video recording are encouraged!
