The Annual Missions Conference is the highlight of our missions calendar at Diakonia Christian Church. For two days, we welcome home our missionary partners from around the world to share stories of God's faithfulness, report on what He is doing in their fields, and inspire our congregation to greater prayer, giving, and obedience to the Great Commission.
Saturday features a full day of missions engagement: an opening worship session, presentations from five missionary families (Honduras, Kenya, India, Cambodia, and Romania), a missions panel Q&A, prayer rooms where you can pray with and for each missionary family, a missions display hall with country-specific information and artifacts, and a catered missions lunch.
Sunday morning worship services are missions-focused, with our missionaries sharing testimonials and updates during both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services. A faith-promise offering for missions will be received. A special children's missions program runs during both services.
Throughout the conference, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for prayer partnerships with missionary families, commit to monthly financial support, and explore short-term mission trip opportunities for the coming year.
