Small groups are the heartbeat of community at Diakonia Christian Church, and the Fall Kickoff is the best way to find your group! This fun, informative evening introduces all 18 small groups launching for the fall semester.
The evening begins with dessert, coffee, and casual fellowship, followed by a brief time of worship and a word from Pastor Rebecca Osei on the importance of biblical community. Then you'll have the opportunity to browse 'group tables' — each hosted by small group leaders who share their group's focus, schedule, and location.
Groups are organized by: Life Stage (young adults, married couples, parents, empty nesters, seniors), Topic (book of the Bible, topical study, spiritual disciplines), and Geography (groups meeting in various neighborhoods across Springfield). There's something for everyone.
