Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is the biggest children's outreach event of the year at Diakonia Christian Church! For one exciting week, children ages 4 through 5th grade embark on 'God's Great Expedition' — a Bible adventure exploring the incredible journeys of faith in Scripture.

Each day includes high-energy worship with our VBS band, an engaging Bible lesson with drama and visual storytelling, creative craft projects, outdoor games and water activities, and a healthy snack. The week culminates in a Friday Family Finale where children perform songs for their families and share what they've learned.

Last year, over 220 children attended VBS, and many heard the Good News of Jesus Christ for the very first time. This event is free and open to the entire community — church membership is not required. We rely on over 75 volunteers to make VBS possible, so please consider serving!

Early bird registration opens May 1. Walk-ins are also welcome during VBS week, space permitting. T-shirts are provided for pre-registered children.
